 David Yazel is an accomplished senior Java developer with over 20 years experience in designing and implementing software products throughout all aspects of the software design process from requirements gathering, prototyping, proof of concept, design and implementation.
For the past decade David has specialized in highly available, fault tolerant and near real-time distributed systems in the financial services market. He has designed and built trading systems (Fixed Income, Equity and FX), portfolio management systems, portfolio accounting software, pricing servers and back office trade settlement systems. David also has expertise in scientific instrumentation, embedded systems and scientific visualization software development.
David also has considerable experience in high performance graphics programming and game development. He is the author of the popular Thursday Night Poker software as well as the original coder and committer of the open source Xith3D java graphics API.
